Cleaning car upholstery

If we use our car a lot, it is important to keep both the interior and exterior clean, as well as to maintain all its mechanical parts. Due to the fabric of car seats, it is not always easy to clean them or remove some stains, for this reason, in today's new post we will see the best tricks and tips to do so.

No matter how much care we give our car, it is very likely that from time to time we will come across a food or grease stain, and since we cannot avoid it, we must find a way to remove it completely in order to continue enjoying our vehicle.

Although we should clean the car superficially once a week, the truth is that from time to time we should do a more thorough cleaning to ensure that it remains in good condition. To do this, the first thing we should do is thoroughly vacuum all the seats and places where crumbs or pieces of paper may have slipped through.

Once we have the surface clean, we must use a sponge moistened in upholstery cleaner. This product is specific and will help us to remove any residue that has been embedded in the fabric of the seats. For those more difficult stains we should use a brush and reapply upholstery cleaner.

Finally, we must dry everything with a cloth and let it dry. The next day we will have a totally shiny car, ready to be enjoyed for many more years.

Removing impossible stains with upholstery cleaner

The most common stains that we can find in the car are mud, chocolate, grease, coffee, etc. Even if we are very careful, it is very likely that at one time or another one of them will appear, for this reason it is important to have a good upholstery cleaner by hand and proceed to clean it as soon as possible.

In the case of mud, for example, before using any product, we must brush the entire area to remove anything that has dried on, this way cleaning it will be much easier and faster. Next we must moisten the brush with upholstery cleaner and we will get the desired result.

Other more liquid stains, such as coffee stains, must be treated differently. It is very important that before wetting the surface again, we try to remove as much liquid as possible with the help of a cloth or rag. Once done, we can proceed to clean it as we would with any other stain.

It is very important to keep in mind that in all cases we must dry the surface well before too much time passes, and if we cannot remove the stain, we must carry out the cleaning process once again.
