Cleaning your home and clothes with eco-friendly detergents

  • by

Welcome one more day to our Dermo blog, yours detergent factory trustworthy. In today's new entry we will talk about the possibility of cleaning your home and your clothes with the ecological detergents.

In the past, people made their own soaps at home, with simple and inexpensive formulas, which were good for cleaning and washing clothes, but it is true that, for years now, these have been replaced by industrial detergents and softeners, which are increasingly combative and have more irritating components that cause many problems such as allergies or eczema, among others.

Therefore, cleaning and maintaining our home, washing and ironing clothes are tasks that involve a large amount of very toxic products and that we must replace. It is up to us to stop using these toxic products that are sold to us as indispensable and choose products that protect our health and the environment. We must choose products of plant origin, if possible certified organic and, in addition, fragrance-free.

Different ways to wash clothes

We will have to choose ecological detergents liquid or powder form that is plant-based and also unscented. They may not contain fragrances, essential oils, colorants or ingredients derived from petroleum.

    • Ecological detergents and softeners: There are ecological detergents such as Klar Wash Nut Liquid Detergent or Nepal Wash Nuts, which do not contain chemicals and are suitable for sensitive skin.
    • Baking soda: One of the many uses of baking soda is to soften clothes. You can add ¼ cup of baking soda to the detergent drawer of your washing machine to make clothes even cleaner and softer.
    • Stain remover: If the clothes have stains, they must be removed by hand beforehand or it is also worth using an ecological stain remover such as Pure Nature, for example. In addition, it is a eco-friendly detergent which kills germs and bacteria and if used regularly, keeps clothes white without bleaching colored clothes.
    • Ironing clothes: The materials used to make the ironing board are also important, especially the cover. Ironing board covers made of cotton, formaldehyde-free and free of the harmful dyes found in conventional covers are essential for ironing without inhaling toxic fumes.

Eco-friendly home cleaning

It is essential to use ecological detergents to clean the home and also try to wake up the communities of neighbors, social centers, schools in our surroundings, among others, that there are other more beneficial, healthy alternatives for everyone. The easiest and cheapest thing is to stop using conventional cleaning products, since they are quite toxic, and clean better with bicarbonate, vinegar, lemon and water.
